(2) May 1st to 5th: DANCE INSPIRATIONS, MOOSE JAW FESTIVEL OF DANCE, Peacock Auditorium in Moose Jaw, Sk.
SENIOR DANCERS ONLY:
(3) May 16th - 19th: STANDING OVATION, Dow Centennial Centre (2), Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.

Registration Information:
ON-LINE REGISTRATION: (3 to7 years)
For Tiny Tot, Preliminary Classes and Primary Classes ONLY: Registration remains available by going to the CONTACT US page of this website to complete and submit the Registration Information Form.
7 Years and Up REGISTRATION:
Registration dates were Wednesday, August 30th and Thursday, August 31st, and classes commence on Tuesday, September 5th. If you missed these registration dates, please feel free to email dorissitterschoolofdance@sasktel.net and request an appointment to register your child. A Teacher will discuss appropriate class levels for placement of your dancer.
Financial Information:
We encourage Non-Contact E-Transfers as our preferred Method of Payment. One positive of the pandemic, we found that E-Transfers were a more popular and efficient method of payment.
We encourage payment of SEPTEMBER FEES ONLY at Registration which permits class additions/deletions during the month of September. This allows adjustment of Monthly fees as required beginning in October. However, there is no refund of September fees.
Your Financial Options are as follows:
Post-Dated Cheques:
* October 1st, 2023 to May 1st, 2024 inclusive.
(Starting October 1st allows for Class additions/deletions/changes and adjustment of fees during the month of September.)
Full or Partial Year Payment
October 2023 to May 2024
OR
October 2023 to December 2023
AND
January 2024 to May 2024.
Monthly Payments:
MONTHLY FEES: due the first week of each month from September 2023 to May 2024.
PRIVATE LESSON FEES: due at Exam times and prior to Competitions.
COSTUME DEPOSITS: due end of November as costumes are ordered in December/January.

Costume Deposits are due the end of November at $60.00 per Class. DSSD costume orders commence in December. DSSD is required to pay in full at time of ordering so Costume Deposits are required prior to ordering.
Please Note: This is a Costume Deposit only and once expenses are calculated to include Exchange, Duty, GST, Shipping, etc. the difference is collected when the costumes are distributed which is usually about one week prior to each event.
Students that withdraw from classes after costumes have been ordered, are responsible for the full cost of the costume. You will be provided with the costume.
Tap, Jazz and Ballet Examinations
Students are assessed by Teachers to determine if there is potential to be examination ready by the date of the scheduled Exams. If assessment confirms sufficient motivation, teaching and practice time to be successful, the student is chosen to be entered.
- Permission slips are sent home with students
- Cost of examination is included
- Parental signature provided on Permission slip, along with examination fee
- Students are scheduled for two (2) Private Lessons with their exam partner
- Some examinations will also require one (1) individual Private Lesson
- If deemed helpful, additional Private Lessons can be scheduled
